Seriously, I have no idea where to start this post. We have had such a blast these past 2 weeks traveling for weddings. Jason has been back home in Canada since Tuesday while I've been attending my best friend, Monica's, wedding this week. Needless to say I'm ready to get back to my husband tomorrow. So in honor of my loneliness on my last night in Arizona, I've decided to update all you fine individuals.
Lets start with San Francisco....
Jason and I arrived and hung out with the parentals for a bit on Fishermans Warf. We LOVED it! It was a little windy and chilly the whole time, but we still had a blast.
I LOVE the architecture of San Francisco. We saw so many beautiful buildings. I also was a huge fan of the steep roads and amazing view of the San Francisco Bay. The shots below capture a street in San Francisco called Lombard. You literally have to zig-zag back and forth because it's so steep. People (like us...) drive around the block just to drive down Lombard. And yes, it is as fun as it looks.
And of course I had to throw up a peace sign for our adventure in China Town.
The next day we headed to the beautiful Oakland Temple for Meridith to take out her endowments. WOW, what an amazing day! Our family had such a wonderful experience in the temple that day. It was so fun to be able to go through with Meridith. Lucky for us we got to meet up with some of our favorite people, Mimi and Xan Marcucci.
(Please excuse the awesome G shot in this one... but I couldn't resist posting it!)
Hopefully this satisfies a little interest in our exciting trip. I'll post more about Meridith and Kevin's wedding and the rest of our adventures when it's not midnight....Goodnight friends!

San Francisco!
I know, I know, you're all dying to know about our AMAZING trip to San Francisco. So I'll give you a little preview and post some pictures when I'm able to get them on a computer.
First of all, Meridith and Kevin are MARRIED! Congratulations to them, it was such a beautiful wedding and a perfect day.
We arrived in San Francisco last Thursday and met up with my parents. We got in around 10 and met my parents a half hour later and I had a job interview over the phone for an amazing job at Mapleton Jr. High at 11. We thought we would be able to get to our hotel on time, but we were still at the car rental place at 10:45.... Luckily the nice man at the counter gave me access to the business room and I was able to have a really really good interview in my own little cubicle. I'm really hopeful that I'll get this job, we have a really good feeling about this! So keep your fingers crossed for me please and thank you :)
We went over to Fishermans Warf for the afternoon, got some AMAZING sourdough bread at Boudin's, and just walked around. It was so much fun!
The next morning we were able to go to the Temple for Meridith. It was a really really amazing experience for our whole family. The Oakland temple is SO beautiful inside and out and it's always so fun going to different temples.
The morning of the wedding we got up and went to get Momo's hair done at a place in San Fran. The lady was so nice and started talking about her "partner"... then she asked about where she was getting married and we were kind of all scared to say the Mormon Temple because of the whole Prop 8 thing, haha.
Okay to all you future brides out there, THE greatest place to get your makeup done is at Nordstrom... My Mom set up an appointment for Meridith to get her makeup done at the Chanel counter. It's free and they did the most amazing job. Just wait til you see the pictures... she is a total beauty queen.
Just wanted to update you with a little bit of what we've been up to. I'll continue when it's not so crazy around here! We're all flying out tomorrow to go home, except I get to go to PHOENIX to hang out with Tyler and Liv Schow and go to MONICA'S WEDDING!!! More updates to come, stay tuned!!!

"You don't have to blog everyday"- Jason
To which my reply was, "I know! But I don't have anything else to do!" Which is partially true...
Today was such a good day! We live in a huge farmers town, so we started a huge ward fast for the "elements". It's been raining a TON here and it's also been pretty chilly. I'm pretty sure the whole stake was fasting, which was pretty awesome.
Most of you probably don't know, but I was called to be a cute little Sunday School teacher. I have 4 4-5 year olds. They are ADORABLE! Being in Primary is super fun and interesting. They all have such cute little personalities and it's so fun to hear the things they say about the church and about Heavenly Father and everything. It's even better when we go in to our room for lesson. Most of them are actually super shy in Primary, but VERY outgoing once we get into our room for the lesson. It's so cute to hear the things they pray for. They get SO off topic all the time, and there have been a few interesting things that they've said. I think this is my favorite calling by far!
After church today Jason and I went over to the storage unit to pick up this baby,
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this interesting piece of recreational equipment, it's called a Surrey. They have these all over a park city-ish place here called Waterton. Larry had to have one, so they bought it a few years ago and ride it during town parades and such. Jason and I decided on our empty fasting stomachs to go over to the storage unit and drive it home. It wasn't too far away, but far enough! It was NOT as easy as we had thought. We pedalled (when I say "we", I should say Jason!) until we were exhausted! We were so tired by the time we got home that after dinner we just crashed on the couch. And yet, we still love the surrey.
We leave for Calgary on WEDNESDAY! And California and THURSDAY!!!
I'm sorry, we really just can't get over our excitement about going to California. We Skyped with my Mom today and we're thinking of doing a tour of Alcatraz. Jason and I have been getting hooked on Prison Documentaries and we're super excited for Alcatraz!
Stay tuned for some awesome shots from our upcoming adventures....

6 DAYS!!!
6 Days until Jason and I leave for CALIFORNIA and ARIZONA! We are both so excited for a little vacation and to spend time with family. It has been nothing but rain and cold wind here and I know we're both ready for some heat.
And we couldn't be more excited for Meridith and Kevin, and Monica and Kolter. CONGRATULATIONS! We're so excited to be a part of their special days. We just booked our hotel in Calgary the night before we fly out to California. Calgary is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Cardston. We also just wanted to have some play time before we head out. There is great shopping in Calgary and some delicious restaurants Jason wants to go to. And the best part... our hotel has a water slide!
So I had to tell about another funny DQ story... This one involves Jason though! Jason has been Mr. Handyman of the DQ lately. We had a toilet in the women's bathroom that was broken, so Jason decided he was going to install the new toilet. With the help of his Dad, he took out the old and put in the new one. He was so proud of his handy work, as he should be! He was so excited that he came to the front and said, "don't give anyone the code to the bathroom for a few minutes, I want to be the first to use it." And so he was. I'm still really sad I didn't get a picture of him and his special little potty.
Anyways, this is short but all I have for today... Happy (almost) Friday!!
